Legislative Aide to the Member Representing Magajin Gari Constituency of Birnin-Gwari Local Government Area at the Kaduna State House of Assembly
Najibullah Yau Musa, often referred to as Nakaka, hails from the vibrant community of Birnin-Gwari in Kaduna state. His academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Education specializing in Biology, and he is presently immersed in the pursuit of a Master’s degree in Educational Administration and Planning at the esteemed Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria.
Complementing his academic pursuits, he has acquired valuable expertise through diverse certifications. Notably, he holds a certificate in Public Policy Process from the prestigious Leadership Institute and has completed the rigorous Think Tank 360 programme offered by the Atlas Networking Academy.
Driven by a passion for educational reform and community empowerment, he established the “Najibullah Nakaka Foundation” with a dedicated focus on uplifting educational standards within Birnin-Gwari. Through this foundation, he championed various initiatives, including education advocacy and awareness campaigns, support for girl-child education, and the establishment of supplementary classes to bolster learning opportunities. Furthermore, he spearheaded the “Leadership for Democracy Initiative” under the auspices of the foundation, aimed at fostering civic engagement and promoting good governance among the populace of Birnin-Gwari.
His commitment to civic duty and community service extends beyond educational endeavours. He actively participated as a PDP ward Supervisor during the 2023 elections and currently serves as the Chairman of the Advocacy Committee at the Attaawun Charitable Foundation in Birnin-Gwari.
Additionally, he holds the role of a local coordinator within the African Students for Liberty movement, advocating for individual freedoms and democratic principles. Currently, he serves as the Director of the EDTECH-NG Teachers Training Academy, an innovative online platform dedicated to enhancing educators’ proficiency in leveraging technology for effective teaching and learning.
Recognizing the importance of informed policy-making in the realm of education, he is honoured to contribute as a member of the Advisory Committee on Education, representing the interests of Magajin Gari Constituency within Birnin-Gwari.
In essence, my multifaceted roles underscore his unwavering commitment to educational advancement, community development, and democratic governance within Birnin-Gwari and beyond.
