Uchenna Innocent Igboeme, also known as Dikin or Igwe Dikin, is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the media and communications industry. Hailing from Umuaja Ugwuike in Iwollo-Oghe Ezeagu LGA, Enugu State, he possesses a remarkable ability to convey complex technical media information in an eloquent and understandable manner.
With a unique aptitude for active listening, clear explanations, and valuable consultation, Uchenna has established himself as a trusted and reliable expert in his field. He excels not only as an individual but also as a collaborative team player, demonstrating strong leadership qualities and organizational skills. His unwavering poise and calculated approach to challenges further enhance his effectiveness in the fast-paced world of media.
In 2022, Uchenna was appointed the Director of Media and Publicity to Mr. Frank Nweke Jr, the governorship candidate of APGA in Enugu, achieving the 3rd position in a keenly contested Gubernatorial election. Subsequently, shortly after the elections in 2023, he was appointed the Head of Station/Programmes Manager of Afia Radio, where not only pioneered but made history in by becoming the first broadcaster in Eastern Nigeria to successfully simulcast on both radio and television for an impressive 7 hours during the launch of official launch of the station.
In 2024, he assumed the role of Executive Producer of TEDx Enugu, where he orchestrated a successful event with over a thousand five hundred attendees and esteemed speakers such as H.E Peter Obi, Paul Onwuanibe, Kanayo O Kanayo, Emeka Mba, Napa Onwusah, Nkem Nweke and many others. This accomplishment underscores his commitment to innovation and excellence.
Currently serving as MD/CEO of Chase Media Consult and Director of Communications and Partnership at Boys Champions Foundation, Uchenna remains at the forefront of leadership, media, communication, social development, and politics. He holds prestigious professional certificates, including Broadcast Journalism from the National Broadcasting Academy and Brand Management from the University of London. Additionally, he is pursuing a business administration and Management Programme at the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), with an HND in-view.
Outside his professional endeavours, Uchenna is happily married to Ral, and they are blessed with a beautiful daughter.
