Lynne Bassey is a highly accomplished individual who holds various roles and responsibilities. She is the Founder of FEEL Foundation, an organization dedicated to addressing the needs of The Boy Child. In addition to her philanthropic work, Lynne is a Vocational Politician and previously ran as a candidate for the House of Assembly in Cross River State.
Professionally, Lynne serves as a University Lecturer at the Department of Sociology at the University of Calabar. With her expertise as a Social Worker and Development Sociologist, holding degrees such as DSW, BSW, B.Sc, M.Sc, and Ph.D., she brings a wealth of knowledge to her teaching and research.
Lynne’s commitment to community service extends beyond academia. She is a voluntary member of the Peace Corps of Nigeria, where she serves as a National Instructor. Additionally, she holds the position of Youth Representative and Member of the Young Democratic Union of Africa (YDUA), advocating for the interests of the youth.
Moreover, Lynne plays a vital role in advancing gender issues and promoting women’s advancement. She serves as the Special Assistant for Gender Issues and Women Advancement to His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, GCON, demonstrating her dedication to empowering women and championing their rights.
