Dr Joseph Edet
Deputy Vice Chancellor, Arthur Jarvis University
Dr Joseph Ekpe Edet, better known as Ntufam Dr. Joe Edet is from Oban in Akamkpa LGA, he holds a first degree in law LLB, a masters in public administration, MPA, a masters in law, LLM and a Ph.D in constitutional law from the University of Calabar. He equally holds certificates from the University of London in Academic Research, Creative and Contemporary writing. He holds the traditional title of Ntufam Onor Mfam and a Grand Knight of the Knights of Saint Mulumba. He’s a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators and an Associate of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London. He’s equally a corporate attorney, a serial Administrator; International Mediator, Conciliator and Arbitrator; Strategic Policy Adviser; Legal scholar; farmer and husband.
He’s presently the Deputy Vice Chancellor at Arthur Jarvis University, Cross River State. He served variously as Special Adviser to H. E Donald Duke; Deputy Chief of Staff to H. E Liyel Imoke; Special Adviser on Intergovernmental Affairs; Cross River State Liaison Officer; Special Adviser to the Governor on Mineral Resources; Special Adviser to H. E Ben Ayade on Strategic Policy and Advisory Council(SPAC); Head of department, Private Law, University of Calabar.
He’s was a senatorial aspirant of the Southern Senatorial District of the state and equally the current Deputy Vice Chancellor of the prestigious Arthur Jarvis University Akpabuyo, Cross River State.
