Rt Hon (Rev) Nelson E Ofem has had a distinguished career in public service and ministry. He retired in 2014 as Director of Administration and General Services in the CRS Unified Local Government Service, after which he transitioned into politics.
Notable Positions Held:
– Member, Cross River State House of Assembly: Represented the Yakurr 1 State Constituency from 2015 to 2023, winning re-election in 2019.
– Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government Affairs: Appointed by HE Senator Prince Bassey Edet Otu in March 2024.
