A Digital Economy Advocate, passionate about Africa and a long-time proponent of its digital transformation, Lanre Osibona was a former Senior Special Adviser to the Nigerian President on Technology, with international, private sector experience spanning over 17 years.
Founder and CEO of The Foresight Group, a collaboration of three uniquely distinct private limited companies that have come together to form an alliance to support Africa’s digital transformation. A group of independent companies with interwoven expertise namely, –Foresight Innovation Consulting, Foresight Knowledge Hub, and Foresight Seeds Fund– its venture capital arm.
Lanre Osibona is a pragmatist and activist for deepening (indigenous) private-public sector collaboration in the development of the continent.
He has had a successful career that started in the UK, providing technology consulting services to international FTSE100 companies -AXA, Deutsche Bank, Vodafone, Ericsson, T–Mobile, Camelot UK and locally for Stanbic Bank, Nigeria (Member of the Standard Bank Group).
