Ariyo Odeyemi

Ariyo Stephen Odeyemi hails from Ora/Obbo-Ile in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, Nigeria. He is a business mogul, entrepreneur, seasoned immigration consultant, community development advocate, and politician. Ariyo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry and Wildlife Management from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, and a Master’s of Science degree in Forest Biometrics and Remote Sensing from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, where he is currently pursuing his PhD.
Ariyo is the Chairman and Managing Director of Shekinah Ultimate World Travels Limited, Starod Property Development Company, Starod Innovation Hub Company, and Starod Agro Services Company. He is well-versed in Monitoring and Evaluation, holding numerous professional certificates in the field, including M&E Fundamentals, Data Use for Programme Managers, Data Quality, and Monitoring and Evaluation of Malaria Programmes, sponsored by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). His extensive expertise sets him apart from his peers.
He is an active member of several international and national corporate and professional bodies. A natural leader, Ariyo has held various leadership positions during his university years, within religious circles, and in the community. He also earned a Diploma from Christian Leadership University, USA. Currently, he serves as the Acting President of the Kwara South Youth Development Organization (KWAYORG), a prominent regional youth organization advocating for youth development in the senatorial district.
Ariyo is a human rights activist and community development advocate, championing due process and accountability among leaders. He founded the Ariyo Odeyemi Community Empowerment Foundation (ARICEF) to support these causes. Additionally, he was a candidate for the Kwara State House of Assembly, representing the Ekiti constituency, under the ACPN in the 2019 general elections and the ADC in the 2023 general elections.
