Paul Oluwadamilola Owoyemi is a dynamic young leader with a strong footprint in civic engagement, political development, and technology-driven social impact. With expertise in data analysis and public policy, Paul has taken on strategic roles that reflect his commitment to innovation, good governance, and youth empowerment.
In 2022, Paul participated in the prestigious Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) Legislative Internship Programme, supported by the European Union, where he represented Ondo State. He served at the National Assembly with both the House Committee on National Planning and Economic Development and the House Committee on Interior, gaining valuable legislative and policy experience.
He later worked as Technical and Project Assistant to the House Committee on Digital and Electronic Banking, supervising ICT-driven legislative initiatives to strengthen Nigeria’s financial sector. As an Associate Consultant to several national agencies, Paul has leveraged technology to streamline operations, improve public sector accountability, and enhance stakeholder engagement.
His passion for democratic participation is evident in his coordination of over 3,740 election observers with the Change for Africa Foundation, deploying ICT tools for real-time reporting and situation room monitoring. A dedicated youth mentor, Paul serves as a District Youth Coordinator in his church, promoting spiritual growth, leadership development, and community transformation among young people.
Paul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and Regional Planning from UNIBEN and a Master’s degree in Tourism and Recreation Planning from ABU Zaria, and numerous other short courses. His interests lie at the intersection of governance, technology, youth development, and policy reform.
In his free time, he enjoys playing Scrabble, reading, and meeting new people. He is known for his analytical thinking, grassroots engagement, and passion for using data to drive impactful change across Africa.
