Chief Operating Officer of Waka with Wakil Transport Solutions Ltd

Mubarak Mijinyawa is a seasoned youth development advocate and a strong believer in a youth-driven economy. He is  currently the Chief Operating Officer of Waka with Wakil Transport Solutions Ltd, a company that leverages IT to provide solutions to the numerous transportation challenges bedeviling transportation, supply chain and E-commerce in Nigeria. He is  a part time lecturer teaching statistics and data science at Philomath University Abuja.

Currently as the CEO of his company, he is designing a solution on empty miles burnt on a daily basis by one-way truckers delivering haulage across Nigeria and beyond. Mijinyawa is also designing a solution on organizing ‘Along’ transportation that will solve issues such as kidnapping, ‘one-chance’, strandedness, e.t.c. bedeviling public transport in Abuja and other major cities across Nigeria. He is a data, politics, policy, and governance analyst/commentator.

As a serial entrepreneur and youth development specialist, he will work with other fellows to build innovative solutions to issues around politics, youth unemployment, and E-commerce where he has keen interest. He also believes that his expertise in data analytics will in no small measure contribute in shaping political narratives and theories that align with the EPLF programme.

Considering the careful selection process of the fellowship, he is optimistic that participating in the fellowship will allow him the opportunity to improve on his journey of creating a spot on the Nigeria political space as well as his vision to emerge as one of the key players in the transport and logistics sector in northern Nigeria and the country as a whole.
