Femi Oladele
Lead Coach at MORE by Meristem/Public Policy Enthusiast
Femi is a Public Policy Enthusiast, Business Advisor, Knowledge and Learning Consultant, and a Certified Financial Literacy Trainer. Driven by two social and economic ills – illiteracy and poverty – he supports and strengthens public policy discourses, strategies, and programmes to deliver public good through research, outreach, and advocacy. Femi is also a staunch supporter of entrepreneurship to enhance human capital development, as well as other economic and social impacts towards societies that are happier, fairer, peaceful, enjoys and exudes shared prosperity.
Femi’s current work and in many cases with multidisciplinary teams focuses on advancing financial literacy, financial inclusion, entrepreneurship, and educational outcomes amongst African youth. In his current role as the Lead Coach at MORE by Meristem, Femi leads the design, development, and deployment of a freely accessible youth-focused learning platform for improving financial literacy and supporting entrepreneurship. He also provides advisory services to young entrepreneurs leading to significant economic and social impact.
At the cusp of career change, Femi morphed from a core accounting academic to a knowledge and learning expert developing learning contents, facilitating courses as well as supporting and strengthening business development initiatives to deliver sustainable outcomes.
With robust research and industry experience in accounting, business, entrepreneurship, public policy, technology, programme development and project management to deliver valuable, insightful, and deliberate social and economic outputs amongst other value-adding services, participating in the Emerging Political Leaders Fellowship will provide me with the opportunity to deepen my understanding of Nigerian politics to deliver positive economic and political impact to better societies that protects the dignity of human life.
