Omotayo Oluwadunsin Veronica is a member of Ekiti State Youth Parliament, representing Ikere Constituency 1 and also the Welfare Director of Young Women In Politics, Ekiti State Chapter, Oluwadunsin is a dedicated and skilled Professional Licensed Medical Laboratory Technician, officially registered with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN). Her commitment to healthcare and the betterment of her community is evident in her professional undertakings and personal advocacy.
Oluwadunsin’s educational path began at St. Louis Nursery & Primary School in Ikere Ekiti, followed by her secondary education at St. Louis Grammar School, also in Ikere Ekiti. She furthered her studies at the College of Health Science and Technology in Ijero Ekiti, graduating in 2019. Her academic background lays a strong foundation for her meticulous and compassionate approach to medical diagnostics, which plays a crucial role in effective patient care.
As a devoted Catholic, she contributes significantly to her community. Hon. Veronica serves as the Assistant General Secretary for the Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria (CYON) at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Afao, Ikere Ekiti. Her involvement in church activities showcases her commitment to youth engagement and leadership development within her parish.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, she is a passionate advocate for youth empowerment, particularly for young women aspiring to participate actively in politics and leadership roles. Hon. Veronica is a firm believer in the transformative potential of youth as agents of positive change. She actively works to dismantle the barriers that inhibit young women from attaining their rightful positions in decision-making forums.
